Moab, UT — Mountain Bike & Hike
From our base camp just outside of Moab explore the incredible mountain biking and hiking trails this area of Utah has to offer. Discover a red rock landscape famous for its massive sandstone arches, colorful canyons, and sweeping mesas. Take a side trip to nearby Dead Horse Point State Park or visit iconic Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
New Zealand - Two Great Walks
Trek two of New Zealand's Great Walks, the Milford Track and the Abel Tasman Coast Track, both on the South Island and each very unique. Take an overnight cruise on the Milford Sound, a trip from Te Anau to Queenstown on the Backroads Bus, a historic steamship cruise of Lake Wakatipu to Queenstown, a crossing of Cook Strait from Picton to Wellington via the Interislander Cook Strait ferry, and conclude with an overnight stay on Kapiti Island.
Italy
The Dolomites are in the northeast corner of Italy, close to the Austrian border. These ramparts of white and pink limestone thrusting up to 10,000 feet from rolling green meadows are more dramatic and esthetic (albeit smaller) than the familiar movie-logo snow-capped peaks of the Alps just to the north. Three-thousand-foot walls attract hard-core rock climbers, while energetic hikers tread a vast network of superb foot trails.
Iceland — Legendary Laugavegur Trek
The Laugavegur Trail was chosen one of the "20 Best Hikes in the World" by National Geographic and we will include the Skógar extension, ending at the stunning 200-foot-high Skógafoss waterfall for a 50-mile trek. The breathtaking scenery throughout the 7-day hike includes fields of obsidian, colorful mountains, black sands, geysers, glaciers and glacial rivers. We spend our nights in mountain huts at beautiful remote locations.
